Cornerstone personnel come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Here is a little bit of information about some of the Missouri Cornerstone staff.
David Pollack
David Pollack is a graduate of the Missouri S&T Mechanical Engineering program. He has obtained both the Building Analyst and Shell Specialist certifications from the Building Performance Institute (BPI). David is also a home inspector and member of INTERNachi. He is one of the principal partners and is the founding member of Cornerstone and oversees the day to day operation of the business. He also performs home assessments for Cornerstone and designs individualized solutions for homeowners. David has taught classes for energy auditors at various community colleges across the state of Missouri and is the primary instructor of the Building Analyst classes that Cornerstone sponsors. Joseph Schall
Joseph Schall is a long term veteran of the real estate business. He holds a real estate brokers license and has worked in the commercial real estate field. Joe is the other principal partner of Cornerstone. His main role with Cornerstone is to work with new business partners to develop new opportunities. Before joining Cornerstone, Joe worked for HCW Developments as their Director of Acquisitions and Project Development. Joe just moved to beautiful Miami Beach, FL with his daughter. Gary Chaney
Gary Chaney has been extensively involved with Community Action Agencies in the state of Missouri. He is an EPA certified HVAC technician and has obtained the Building Analyst certification through BPI. He is the head of research and development and oversees the various aspects of the "Comfortize" program. He is also responsible for creating the many teaching aids that Cornerstone uses and has available for purchase. Jeff Wilsman
Jeff Wilsman has an IT degree and worked for 20 years as a consultant in database management and creation. Jeff is the primary instructor in St. Louis for the "Pathways out of Poverty" training grant for which Cornerstone is a subcontractor. He worked as a home inspector in St. Louis for many years before joining Cornerstone. He conducts energy audits for Cornerstone in the St. Louis area. Debbie Willhite
Debbie Willhite began her career in the medical field. She worked for over 20 years as a nurse in various parts of the country. She has been trained in leadership and administration through the Vineyard Leadership Institute. Debbie oversees the daily operations of the Cornerstone office in Rolla. Jon Reinagel
Jon Reinagel is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a physics degree. He has done many things since his graduation with that degree. Most recently he helped run a mission base in Dondo, Mozambique. Jon is good with several languages including English, Portuguese, and PHP.
